Most kinds of sea turtles are in danger. They are called “endangered” because they are at risk of disappearing forever. The places where they live are being destroyed, and sometimes they get caught in fishing nets or people steal their eggs.

We can help sea turtles by using special fishing nets that don’t catch them by accident. We can also stop throwing plastic in the ocean and keep the beaches where they lay their eggs free of trash.
